Ren Yuan is an artist, designer, and programmer. His research areas include generative art, computer graphics, and machine learning. He used to be the executive director of the Data Visualization Lab at Caixin Media. He is the founder of Ren Yuan (Beijing) Cultural and Creative Co., Ltd., the author of Processing Interactive Programming (Science Press, 2015) and Processing Creative Coding (Tsinghua University Press, 2019), and the creator of the c2.js open source library for creative coding.
